Jonathan R. Ksiazek represents plaintiffs in civil rights cases involving police misconduct and illegal employment practices in addition to nursing home abuse and neglect matters. Jonathan primarily focuses on all areas of civil rights and employment law.
Jonathan takes a personal interest in each of his cases. He truly enjoys helping his clients, and it is this joy and search for justice that brought him to the legal profession. Jonathan understands that while his clients are foremost concerned with achieving a favorable outcome, they also expect to be informed as their case proceeds forward. Therefore, Jonathan makes all efforts to be accessible at all times during the litigation process. While Jonathan develops each facet of his clients' cases with the intent to proceed to trial, his thorough investigation and research allows him to negotiate favorable settlements for his clients at all stages of litigation in both state and federal court. Jonathan has successfully litigated cases in the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Central District of Illinois, Northern District of Illinois and numerous other courts across the country.
Jonathan joined Ed Fox & Associates in 2009, after working as a commercial litigator upon his admission to the Illinois Bar and the Northern District of Illinois. Jonathan is a graduate of both the University of Illinois College of Law and Northwestern University. While at the University of Illinois College of Law, Jonathan was a member of the Civil Rights Clinic. While in the Civil Rights Clinic, he conducted a three-day long prisoner rights trial in the Central District of Illinois. Jonathan currently is a coach of the Northwestern University undergraduate Mock Trial team and during law school coached both the University of Illinois undergraduate Mock Trial team and University of Illinois College of Law Trial team.
